Legal aid:
Legal aid helps low-income individuals who meet financial eligibility guidelines. There is no income limit for victims of domestic abuse.

Cases that legal aid handles include:
-Bankruptcy and debt relief
-Child custody and dependency issues
-Protection from Abuse
-Elder Law, Issues in Aging
-Barriers to employment including expungement/pardon of criminal records
-Government benefit issues including SSI, Unemployment compensation, TANF, SNAP, medical assistance, and LIHEAP
-Mortgage foreclosure, Landlord-tenant, and other housing issues
-Utility problems
