3.16.2020- COVID-19 Closure

Dear Trumbauersville Parents and Guardians,

As we begin to embark on what may be a new norm, and our schools will be closed for at least the next two weeks, we would like to share some important resources with you.  While the coming days will certainly be different, there are a plethora of resources, ideas, and supports that can help keep our students on track for success.

As Dr. Harner shared in a previous communication, we will not be providing new instruction for students, and students will not be given any assignments that are required or will be graded.  What we can do, however, is continue to keep our lines of communication open between teachers and families. The suggested method of communication with Trumbauersville teachers will be email or SeeSaw since we do not have access to classroom and office phones.

Throughout the period of closure, there are many resources to keep students engaged in learning at home.  Please consider the following:

  • We have issued district Chromebooks or iPads to students. If you have not yet completed a form to acknowledge your receipt of devices, please do so here.

  • We would like to stay connected with our community. Please use this twitter hashtag #qcsdshareyourlearning

Additionally, please know that there will be cold breakfasts and lunch meals available at the Quakertown High School for students who qualify for free and reduced lunch.  Meals are available for pick up between 11:30 and 1:00 PM, and students will need to enter their Student ID numbers and schools they attend.

Please know that we are committed to supporting families and students through our school closure. Take this time of social distancing to connect as a family. We will get through this together!

Take care and be well.

Adam G. Schmucker

Principal
