Dates*:
- Friday, January 31, 2020, through Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020 - fundraising starting and ending dates
- Thursday, Feb 6 & Thursday, Feb 13 - students empty their coin box into the homeroom’s bag
- Thursday, Feb 6 & Thursday, Feb 13 -students can return white coupons (on bottom of the attached letter) to homeroom
Details:
- Coinbox details: Your child received a box from their homeroom teacher and should put their name on the box. Coins, cash, or checks are accepted. If a check is written, it should be written out to Sixth Grade Center with LLS in the Memo section. NOTE: Only two thank-you gifts from LLS are given for coinbox donations. Online fundraising is encouraged.
- Online fundraising: Help your child start their own online LLS fundraising page. Go to http://www.studentseries.org/donate, find our school “Quakertown Sixth Grade Center,” choose “Join a Classroom team” and click on your child’s homeroom teacher. To create an LLS account, please use a personal email address, preferably not your child’s school email. LLS will send a confirmation email with a link to your page for you to share on social media, etc. In addition to the thank-you gifts listed on the main letter for fundraising certain amounts, Dorney Park will donate a single-day pass to any student who fundraises at least $150 online during our Pennies for Patients campaign! This ticket may be emailed to the email address used to set up the fundraising page.
Please help our school reach our goal of $2,023! There will also be a friendly competition between homerooms. Involvement is encouraged, but optional. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. DiGiacomo at [email protected]
