GSA

A GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance or Genders-Sexualities Alliance) is a student-run club, typically in a high school, which provides a safe place for students to meet, support each other, talk about issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity/expression, and work to end homophobia and transphobia. The GSA at Quakertown High School meets  weekly, on Mondays (or the first school day of the week) at 2:30 in room B125. EVERYONE is welcome! We work to improve school climate for all students particularly those belonging to marginalized groups due to sexuality, gender identity/expression, race, ethnicity, and/or abilities. Contact the advisors, Mrs. Sabol and Dr. Kelly for more information.

The Gay-Straight Alliance or Genders & Sexualities Alliance (GSA) is a student-run club that provides a safe place for students to meet, support each other, talk about issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity/expression, and work to end homophobia and transphobia. The GSA at Quakertown High School meets after school on Mondays in room B108. We work to improve school climate for all students regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression, as well as racial/ethnic, religious/cultural, and ability identities. GSA Membership is open to all, but the roster is kept confidential. Our activities include  LGBTQ dances, volunteering at Pride events in Philadelphia, New Hope, and Doylestown, movie screenings, days of action, letter writing campaigns and other activism in the school and community.
