Renovation may mean shift to TV for Neidig students

A suggestion by the construction manager to have Neidig Elementary School students moved to the closed Tohickon Valley Elementary School for one year during Neidig's renovation is being considered by the Quakertown Community School Board.

Jamie Lynch of D'Huy Engineering gave two presentations in July to residents of the Neidig community, in which he addressed the construction plans and its challenges, in addition to the benefits and disadvantages of relocating students.

"I know the travails that we go through, that students, teachers and staff go through, on a renovation project," he said during the meetings at Neidig on July 9th and 23rd. "Any opportunity that I have to make it easier and not disrupt the educational process is the approach I prefer to take."
