Annual Leukemia Society fundraiser

Ok, everybody, look at your student council homeroom rep right now.  That’s it.  Look at your rep.  After announcements this morning, your rep is going to tell you about our meeting last week, especially about teachers getting pied in the face if we can collect $1,000 during the next three weeks for the Leukemia Society.  Yep, this is our annual fundraiser, and we always have a great prize for all of Milford if we hit our $1,000 mark.  Seventh and eighth graders do you remember last year’s “kiss a pig?!” And 8th graders, do you remember teachers getting pied two years ago?  Well, you get to do that again this year, and we have eight wonderful teachers who have volunteered to get cream pies thrown in their faces at our March 31st talent show!  Who will be the eight students who will throw those pies?  Well, if you donate to the Leukemia Society, even just a quarter, you will become eligible for that!  Your name will be added to the list of possible pie-throwers, and we will randomly pick the lucky eight at the end of our fundraiser.  So bring in your pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, dollars, and checks, and let’s make this happen for the Leukemia Society.
