As part of a K-8 Anti-Bullying District initiative, Strayer Strong is a building wide program designed to improve school climate.  Students meet in small discussion groups facilitated by a teacher.  The groups meet approximately twice a month during the school day. Various topics and activities are planned for each session.  Topics include friendship, communication, respect, preventing bullying, and accepting differences.  Through discussion, students gain knowledge and skills in how to communicate and get along with others, thus helping to create a climate where students enjoy coming to school and learning.
