The middle school physical education program encourages the development of every child physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially through participation in physical activities.  Physical activity improves muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance, as well as serves as a vehicle that helps children establish self-esteem and strive for achievable, personal goals.

   Developing a healthy attitude through the enjoyment of physical activity will provide for leisure time fulfillment. Young people can build healthy bodies and establish healthy lifestyles by including physical activity in their daily lives.
